Pasco Extension Office Hosting Local Food System Conference
Conference will feature locally-sourced chef’s brunch, Saturday, October 20, 2018
UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service is hosting a Pasco Local Food System Conference on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Pasco-Hernando State College East Campus, located at 36727 Blanton Road, Dade City, Florida.
The conference will appeal to those interested in small farm/crop service, economic development, agriculture, alternative crops, health and nutrition, and the components of the local food system.
A delicious, locally-sourced brunch featuring fresh farm salad, grass-fed beef tips and kumquat-inspired dessert will be provided by Benny Pumo, restaurateur and chef at Benedetto’s in Land O’ Lakes. (View the full menu here: http://bit.ly/2NswLrb.)

The cost is $40 per person, which includes brunch and educational sessions. Parking is free. Seating is limited, and registration ends October 18, 2018.
