Pasco Extension Office Hosts Horse Owner’s Workshop

Improve your horse’s health, nutrition and pasture: October 9 & 16 in Dade City

UF/IFAS Pasco County Cooperative Extension Service is hosting The Central Florida Horse Owner’s Educational Workshop on two consecutive Tuesdays, October 9 & 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pasco County Extension in Clayton Hall, 36702 SR 52, Dade City, Florida.

The educational workshop will appeal to those interested in learning more about techniques and practices to better care for their horses.  Horse ownership requires management of both the horse and the pastures they live in for optimal health and performance.

Each seminar will cover separate topics:

October 9:

Growing Productive Pastures

Managing Manure

Toxic Plant Identification


October 16:

Equine Nutrition

Basic Equine First Aid

Horse Health & Wellness
