Details:            Is something munching the leaves on your perennials?  Are you wondering what plants grow best in Florida?  Then come to the Hudson Library the first Tuesday of each month for free garden advice.  Pasco County Master Gardeners will be in the lobby to answer all of your gardening questions.  If you’re having problems with an ailing plant, bring a sample for an on-the-spot diagnosis!

Description:    The Rain Water Harvesting Workshop at Crews Lake Park is part of the Earth Day Celebration!  Participants will learn how to install, paint and use their rain barrel.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop starting time at 10:00 AM.  Each rain barrel holds approximately 55 gallons (there may be slight style/size/gallonage variation).  Limit one rain barrel per household member.  Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.  The $40.00 fee covers the cost of the rain barrel and workshop instruction.  No payments will be taken the day of the event.  Sorry, no refunds.  Registration required at Eventbrite.

 

Subject:           Earth Day – Compost Happens Workshop

Description:    The Compost Happens Workshop at Crews Lake Park is part of the Earth Day Celebration!  Participants will learn all of the benefits of using a compost and the “do’s and don’ts” of composting.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop starting time at 1:00 PM.  Pre-registration and payment are required.  The $35.00 fee covers the cost of the compost unit and workshop instruction.  Limit one compost bin per household.  Attendance to the workshop is required by at least one household member.  No payments will be taken the day of the event.  Sorry, no refunds.  Registration required at Eventbrite.
