Pasco County Pet of the Week

Diego (ID: 49940448) is as sweet as he is handsome! He is about 8 years old and 60 pounds. This gorgeous guy is gentle and likes to be in your lap. He also participates in playgroups, enjoying a game of chase with other dogs. However, he would do best in a home without cats. Diego walks well on a leash, knows the sit and shake commands, and takes treats gently. He may be easily house-trained, as he keeps his kennel clean and potties as soon as he goes outside. He did test positive for heartworms, but his treatment will be sponsored upon adoption. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services to meet Diego today!

Jetson (ID: 49924578) loves the simple things in life — butt scratches, belly rubs, rolling in the grass. He’ll also happily sit in your lap for cuddles. This 5-year-old is about 65 pounds. He walks well on a leash; knows the sit, shake and down commands; and takes treats gently. Jetson is also wonderful with children! However, he would likely do best as an only pet or with another social dog. As always, slow introductions and careful supervision are the key to making doggy friends. If you have other dogs, a meet-and-greet is recommended. Jetson did test positive for heartworms, but his treatment will be sponsored upon adoption. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet him!
