Pasco Residents Have Two Ways to Dispose of Storm Debris

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on September 25, 2017

Debris can be dropped off at landfills OR be picked up by County

Residents who need to dispose of storm-related debris have two options: drop off storm debris at one of two Pasco County solid waste facilities or register with Pasco County for storm debris pick-up.

  • East Pasco Transfer Station, 9626 Handcart Rd, Dade City
  • West Pasco Resource Recovery, 14606 Hays Rd, Spring Hill

Both locations are open Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The East Pasco Transfer Station can only accept tree limbs and debris of 3-inch diameter or less and 3 feet in length or less.  Larger materials must be taken to the West Pasco Resource Recovery facility.

Fees for storm debris will continue to be waived until further notice.  Fees many be charged for items other than storm debris.

The County is picking up loose, storm-related debris that is left in the right-of-way.  *Pasco County will only pick up items that were damaged in the storm.

Residents can register for storm debris pick-up on Pasco County’s website: or through the MyPasco app.

For questions or concerns, please contact Pasco County Customer Service at 727-847-2411.
