The second annual Pasco Upcycle Festival will be held Saturday, November 12th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in New Port Richey’s Sims Park – located at 6431 Bank Street.
The goal of the Pasco Upcycle Festival is to reduce waste by showcasing how items can be reused. Recycling can be much more than tossing plastic and paper into a recycling bin. Many things some might consider ‘trash’ can be repurposed into not only something useful – but often times a work of art. The ingenious process of reinventing something with a new purpose is called upcycling!
Dozens of upcycle vendors, offering items like pallet furniture and spoon bracelets, will be at this year’s Pasco Upcycle Festival.
“This year is going to be amazing,” said Kristen King, Keep Pasco Beautiful Coordinator. “We are thrilled to have more than 60 registered vendors.”
The free festival at the newly-renovated Sims Park will also feature animal rescues, a farmers market, food trucks and live music from The Buskrats and Clemons Road.
The Pasco Upcycle Festival is a partnership between Keep Pasco Beautiful and Pasco County.
