Pet of the Week – Collins and Foxy

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on September 26, 2022

Born to run? That’s Collins (ID: A000145)! He is about 7 years old and 60 pounds. This friendly guy loves to play and would do well in an active home. He pulls on a leash at first, but is easily corrected. He knows the sit and down commands, and he takes treats gently. Collins could use some work on jumping and being mouthy. He’s just so eager to make friends, and he needs to learn what’s expected of him. Although sweet with people, Collins would do best as an only pet. He also doesn’t like sharing his things. He did test positive for heartworms, but his treatment will be sponsored upon adoption. If your home sounds like a good fit for Collins, make an appointment today with Pasco County Animal Services to meet him!

Foxy (ID: A000012) is a great girl who would likely fit into just about any family. This 8-year-old weighs about 60 pounds. She has been around children and participates in playgroups with other dogs, preferring those that are gentle like she is. However, she may do best in a home without cats. Foxy knows the sit, shake, down, stay and come commands, and she takes treats gently. She walks well on a leash and is good in the car. Make an appointment today with Pasco County Animal Services to meet this happy, sweet girl!
