Pet of the Week – Baguette and Thalia
Looking for a walking or jogging companion? Baguette (ID: A000085) would be ideal for an active home! This 2-year-old weighs about 55 pounds. He can be a little exuberant and pulls a little when he first gets going on a leash, but he is easily corrected. He is attentive, sits on command and takes treats gently. He also participates in playgroups with dogs, getting along with a variety of canine friends. Baguette has a sweet side and likes to be in your lap and give kisses. He could use some work on jumping, though. With enough exercise and attention, he would blossom into a wonderful companion. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services to meet him today!
Looking for an active companion? Thalia (ID: A000089) may be your girl! She is about 2 years old and 50 pounds. This friendly pup participates in playgroups, enjoying a game of chase with other dogs. She also loves splashing in the pool. Thalia knows the sit, down, stay and come commands. She takes treats gently and will even catch them in the air! However, she could use some work on her leash manners, as she tends to pull. She also doesn’t like to share her food. Thalia previously lived in a home, where she was reported to be house-trained. If she sounds like a good match for you, make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet her!
