Clark Kent Pet of the Week

He may look like a tough guy, but Clark Kent (ID: A000040) is a cuddle bug! This 6-year-old weighs about 60 pounds. He is friendly, sweet, and likes kisses and snuggles. He also enjoys rolling in the grass. Clark Kent knows the sit, stay and come commands, and he takes treats gently. He sometimes pulls but generally walks well on a leash. This playful guy could use some work on jumping. Although he loves people, he would do best as an only pet. Looking for your Superman? If you’re looking for an adventure buddy, Jax (ID: A000102) may be your guy! He is about 4 years old and 60 pounds. This energetic, handsome hunk loves to run around the yard and chase lizards. He also enjoys a good chew toy. Jax participates in playgroups at the shelter and may do best with a female dog. He sits on command but could use some work on his leash manners, as he tends to pull. Jax tested positive for heartworms, but his treatment will be sponsored upon adoption. Want to see if you can make a connection? Schedule an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services to meet Jax today!
