Pet of the Week – Cocho and Tank

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on January 31, 2023

Cocho (ID: A002943) is a sweet, gentle guy in the market for his forever home. This 6-year-old weighs about 70 pounds. He walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. He is learning to properly greet other dogs and responds well to corrections. With a little patience, he may become a model canine citizen! Cocho tested positive for heartworms, and Pasco County Animal Services staff would be happy to discuss treatment options with you. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet him!

True to his name, Tank (ID: A002233) is a big guy! This 3-year-old is over 90 pounds and could stand to gain a few more. This playful guy is strong and pulls a little on the leash at first, though he generally walks well. He sits and shakes on command, and he takes treats gently. Tank is as friendly with other dogs as he is with people, enjoying a game of chase in shelter playgroups. If this handsome hunk sounds like a good fit for your home, make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today to meet him!
