Pet of the Week – Leila and Ruth

By Meaghan Goepferich Posted on January 10, 2023

Leila (ID: A001028) is a happy girl who loves both people and other dogs. This 10-year-old weighs about 50 pounds. She is sweet, calm and quiet. She walks well on a leash and takes treats gently. She participates in playgroups, enjoying a game of chase with other dogs. Her favorite thing, though, is to be near her person and get attention. Like many seniors, Leila could use a dental. If you’d like to make her part of your family, schedule an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services today!

Ruth (ID: A003412) is as sweet as she is beautiful! This 3-year-old weighs about 60 pounds. She is a little timid and unsure at first, but she warms up quickly. Once she makes a friend, she likes to give hugs and kisses, be in your lap and get belly rubs. She also shows her playful side! Ruth walks well on a leash and sits on command. She participates in playgroups with other dogs, preferring those that are gentle like she is. However, she may do best in a home without cats. Make an appointment with Pasco County Animal Services to meet her today and you won’t regret it!
