Pine Island Beach Swimming Advisory Announced Sept. 30

The Florida Department of Health in Hernando County (DOH-Hernando) announces that Pine Island Beach, located at 10840 Pine Island Drive in Spring Hill, is currently under a swimming advisory due to high bacterial levels.

The water will be re-tested on October 1, 2019 and an announcement will be made when the advisory is lifted. The beach and park areas remain open to the public.
