Pop’s Ice Cream opens in Spring Hill

Locals have eagerly been waiting a year for Pop’s Ice Cream House to open.

The local Baskin Robbins closed its doors when Dunkin’ Donuts moved to a stand-alone building, leaving this part of Spring Hill without an ice cream shop last year. That’s when Rick Dandino decided to pursue his dream of owning an ice cream stand.

Dealing with a pandemic pushed everything from trades to permitting behind for the owner, Rick Dandino. For the last year, as construction continued, many in the community would stop in happy to see a new ice cream shop moving in.

Pop’s has finally opened its doors and is celebrating its grand opening from September 24th through October 3rd with free samples and all the usual variety of ice cream treats.  While customers wait for their soft-serve ice cream they can enjoy a game of ring toss or corn hole.
