Qi Gong offered at New Port Richey Library Wednesdays

Qi Gong is offered at the New Port Richey Public Library (5939 Main Street, 34652) in downtown New Port Richey every Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.

Qi Gong a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation with roots in Chinese medicine, philosophy, spirituality and the martial arts. Qi Gong is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance qi (chi), which is translated as “life energy.”

Instructor, Deb Plotkin, helps students align breathing, movement and awareness to provide a restorative and meditative exercise. There is no charge to attend these classes.
