Remodeled Teen Zone Open House at Homosassa Library

The Friends of the Homosassa Library invite community members of all ages to a special Teen Zone Open House event at the Homosassa Library on Friday, October 12 at 2:00pm. The event celebrates the recent improvements to the branch’s Teen Zone, including a new paint scheme and carpet, modular tables and seating, as well as a new layout to enhance the look and make the space more teen friendly. These improvements were made possible through a generous donation from the Friends of the Homosassa Library.

The day will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, live ukulele music by Sarah Miller as well as cake and refreshments. Guests of all ages are encouraged to participate in the many craft activities that will be running throughout the afternoon including: beaded bookmarks, black-out poetry art, cubee craft characters, Halloween and harvest cards, miniature books, and much more.

Teens are invited to stick around after the ribbon cutting event for a Teen Scream After Party. Come in costume and bring a friend for creepy crafts, tricky treats, and a showing of Disney’s “Hocus Pocus.”
