A continuing goal of the Rotary Club of Dade City Sunrise; it to partner with Pasco Education Foundation to take advantage of a matching grant and provide books to local elementary schools.

Rotary Club of Dade City Sunrsie Donates Books for the 11th Year in a Row!

In their 11^th year, Sunrise was able to provide 1,282 Books to date, supporting education and literacy. The Rotary Theme for September was “Basic Education & Literacy” and during a ZOOM Meeting September 24^th, the books we presented virtually and then delivered in person.

The Speaker was Kimberly Poe, Assistant Superintendent for Pasco County Schools who gave us an update on the breakdown of students learning “In-Person” vs “On-Line”, lunchroom procedures, and the resent parent survey results.
