Self-Serve Sandbag Sites open in Citrus County

Due to the effects of record-breaking rainfall over the summer, some low-lying and closed basin properties within Citrus County continue to experience residual flooding.

Out of an abundance of caution, Citrus County opened two self-serve sandbag sites on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

The sites are located at Citronelle Park at 7826 W Dunklin Rd, Dunnellon, FL 34433, and Floral Park at 9530 S Parkside Ave, Floral City, FL 34436. These sites will be monitored for supplies and remain open until further notice.
