The Friends of the Crystal River State Parks, Inc., in partnership with the Florida Park Service, the Florida Coastal Office (FCO) and the Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN), will host summer camp for children ages 8-11 at the Crystal River Preserve State Park July 10th -14th 2017.
Campers will learn how to appreciate and understand nature, take an active role in conservation and relate to how ancient people lived life along Florida’s Gulf coast.
Professional archeologists, biologists, park staff and volunteers will teach camp sessions.
Summer camp applications are available on line https://www.floridastateparks.org/park-events/Crystal-River-Preserve or can be picked up in person at the park office. Completed applications with payment are required to secure space and processed on a first come first serve basis.
Summer camp registration fee is $80.00 per camper, after camp care is available from 2:30 to 3:30 pm for an additional charge of $20.00.
