Summer Fried and Countrified Festival September 1 benefits Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch

Hernando County Parks and Recreation will be hosting a Summer Fried and Countrified Festival on September 1, 2018 from 2 – 11 p.m. at Linda Pederson Park located at 6400 Shoal Line Boulevard in Weeki Wachee.

This family friendly event will feature live music, food trucks, local vendors, beer and wine, contests, bounce houses and more.

Live music will begin at 3 p.m. from Pirate Flag Kenny Chesney Tribute Band, Chad Montana and Cowboy Buck, The Bearded Brothers, Will Erickson and The Wreckage, JT Curtis and The Florida Scoundrels, and Skylar Clark.

Other activities include corn hole, trivia, fried chicken eating, pie eating and Summer Olympics contests. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranch in Hernando County.

Tickets can be purchased at General Admission (GA) Early Bird tickets, available until August 25, will be $10. GA Advanced Tickets, available from August 26 to August 31, will be $15. GA tickets purchased the day of the event will be $20. VIP tickets will be $75 and include a private area to enjoy the concert, food and drink (beer and wine) and a swag/gift bag.
