Summer of Second Chances at Pasco County Animal Services 6/4
The Pasco County Animal Services Department (PCAS) is bursting at the seams with strays! The shelter is over-loaded with the cutest adoptable pets in Pasco County. To kick off the “Summer of Second Chances,” PCAS is hosting a special adoption event on Saturday, June 4, 2016, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., at 19640 Dogpatch Lane, Land O’ Lakes, Florida.
During the event, PCAS will waive adoption fees for all cats and dogs over 25 pounds and older than eight months. PCAS will also be offering $5.00 rabies vaccines and $15.00 microchips from 10:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. (Pasco County residents must have a current Pasco County animal license tag or purchase one at the time of the vaccine.) Come out to the PCAS Adoption Center and get your pets’ rabies vaccination up to date. While you’re there, be sure to check out the many cats and dogs who are eagerly anticipating a new home. Come find a new best friend for your fur-baby!
PCAS has set a goal to save at least 90 percent of the animals admitted into the shelter. This goal cannot be met without community support. These sweet, adoring pets need help from the Pasco County community. Strays are continuously making their way into the shelter and adopters are desperately needed. These beautiful creatures need a home. They need you.
Join PCAS for this special adoption event. If adoption is not an option at this time, help the cause by spreading the word. The more people who adopt, the more lives will be saved. Don’t miss this chance to help save a life.
