Suncoast Credit Union offers Scholarships to High School Seniors: Apply before March 31
Suncoast is a proud supporter of public education. Scholarships are available to high school seniors who live in the counties served by Suncoast Credit Union, including Citrus, Hernando and Pasco, and who demonstrate a need for financial assistance, possess leadership abilities and achieve high academic performance.
Applications are available online between January through March of each year. Suncoast will award $2,000 scholarships to 58 high school seniors who demonstrate financial need and strong academic performance across the 21 Florida counties they serve, including Citrus, Hernando and Pasco.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants may attend a public or private school, but must be a high school senior.
- Scholarships recipients must enroll in an accredited 4 year college or university or a 2 year college or technical school. The school must be located in Florida.
- Scholarships recipients must begin classes in 2017-2018.
Since 1990, Suncoast Credit Union Foundation has provided more than 600 scholarships totaling nearly $1 million to students pursuing higher education.
