Sunrise of Pasco will host event at Center Ice for SAAM (Sexual Assault Awareness Month)

The public is invited to come skate, and learn about the services and programs provided by Sunrise of Pasco County Domestic and Sexual
Violence Center.
Advent Health Center Ice is open to the public offering the opportunity to skate for $12 and will be donating $2 to Sunrise for each skater. If you would like to attend but are not interested in skating, Sunrise will be selling tickets for $10 to the VIP Room. The VIP Room, sponsored by My Community Mortgage Company, will feature food, access to the cash bar, and an activity to benefit the children who are living at the shelter.

If you are interested in attending, becoming a sponsor, or purchasing a VIP Ticket, please contact Sunrise Director of Development Vicki Wiggins at [email protected] or by phone at 352-521-3358.
Sunrise of Pasco Domestic and Sexual Violence Center is an equal opportunity, non-profit services provider that serves Pasco County. Since 1982, Sunrise of Pasco has been providing free victim services
to people in the community who are hurting. Sunrise maintains a 40-bed emergency shelter to provide protection for women and children in crisis, provides free counseling services for survivors of domestic
violence and sexual assault and fosters a culture of non-violence through various community engagement efforts. The agency serves hundreds of women, men, and children annually, when – in a
better world – this kind of work would not even be necessary.
