Temporary closure of Bellamy Brothers Boulevard starts Sunday, 3/19

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on March 18, 2017

Pasco County Engineering Services wants residents to be aware that Bellamy Brothers Boulevard, between State Road 52 and Darby Road, will be temporarily closed overnight beginning Sunday, March 19, 2017.  Crews will be installing stormwater pipes in the area as part of continuing construction on State Road 52.

The Florida Department of Transportation’s contractor, D.A.B. Constructors, will be working overnight – from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. – Sunday, March 19 through Thursday, March 23.  Bellamy Brothers Boulevard is expected to be open again Friday, March 24, 2017.

Electronic message boards along State Road 52 will alert drivers to a detour along Curley Road, and off-duty law enforcement officers will be stationed at intersections to provide additional direction, if necessary.  During the closure, local residents will have access to their homes via Darby Road.

For questions about the Bellamy Brothers Boulevard detour, contact Project Administrator Al Furney at 813.299.8150.
