Citrus County Transit Services would like to remind Citizens of our continued door to door service with expanded hours.  Transporting Citizens to work Monday through Friday has been a top priority with service starting at 6:00 AM, and ending at 6:00 PM. 

Transit Reminds Citizens of Continued Door-to-Door Service

During the state of emergency, fares have been suspended.  Same-day trips are scheduled if buses are available with more options between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.  Our buses are disinfected daily with limited passenger capacity to practice social distancing guidelines, and passengers are highly encouraged to wear a mask.  All buses have a wheelchair lift and are suitable for most special needs passengers as well as the general public. 

Transportation at no cost to Veteran facilities with home pickups is also available as follows:

Tampa VA Hospital – Every Tuesday

Gainesville VA Hospital – Every Wednesday

The Villages Outpatient Clinic – Every Thursday
