~~Pasco Government and Constitutional Offices’ annual drive benefits Pasco students~~

Put your best foot forward and join Pasco County to help local children in need during the fourth annual Two Good Soles Shoe and Sock Drive.  Pasco County Government and Constitutional Offices’ staff will compete again to be the top collectors of new footwear for students in Pasco County Schools.

“Two Good Soles” Shoe & Sock Drive Kicks Off July 25, 2019

“We created Two Good Soles to collaborate and give back,” said Assistant County Administrator for Public Services Cathy Pearson.  “The growth and continued success of this program is a humbling reminder of the basic needs that challenge many children in our community.”

Last year’s record-setting drive resulted in over 2,200 pairs of shoes and 6,600 pairs of socks donated.  Since 2016, the drive has collected 4,511 pairs of shoes and 11,452 pairs of socks!

Pasco County Government and school social workers collaborated on a video that highlights the constant need for footwear and the impact these donations have on kids in our community.  Despite the growing numbers of donations, the shoes and socks are all gone within a few months.

Collection boxes can be found at Pasco County Government and Constitutional offices countywide beginning July 25.  The drive runs through October 25.

All donated shoes and socks will be presented to Pasco County Schools at an official ceremony later this year at Wendell Krinn Technical High School (formerly Ridgewood High School) in New Port Richey.
