Two Senior Centers to close temporarily in August

Land O’ Lakes and Galen Wilson centers closing for remodeling

The Pasco County Elderly Nutrition Division announces the temporary closing of the Land O’ Lakes Senior Center and the Galen Wilson Senior Center for remodeling projects.  Registered diners are welcome to enjoy meals at an alternate Senior Center during the closures, which will be as follows:

Land O’ Lakes Senior Center, 6801 Wisteria Loop, Land O’ Lakes

  • Closed: Monday, August 7, 2017 – Friday, August 11, 2017
  • Alternate dining option: Shady Hills Senior Center, 15925 Greenglen Lane, Shady Hills

Galen Wilson Senior Center, 8600 Galen Wilson Blvd, Port Richey

  • Closed: Monday, August 14, 2017 – Friday, August 25, 2017
  • Alternate dining option: Southgate Senior Center, 5352 Charlotte Ave., New Port Richey

Meal services and delivery to homebound participants will continue as scheduled.  

All seniors are encouraged to communicate with their respective Senior Center Site Attendants ahead of time regarding any additional special requests, needs, questions, or concerns.  The Pasco County Elderly Nutrition Division extends its apologies for any inconvenience caused by these temporary closures.
