Subject:           Farm to Table Summer Camp
Date:               June 3, 2019 thru June 7, 2019

Details:            Join us for the UF/IFAS Pasco Extension Farm to Table Summer Youth Camp.  Kids will learn how to grow their own food, the importance of attaining fruits and vegetables in their diet, and environmental conservation.  Get ready for hands-on activities in the classroom paired with interactive lessons in the garden.  Daily science experiments like how to make/use a solar oven to dehydrate food will be taught.  Let’s go outside, get our hands dirty, and have fun!  Each day, participants will harvest vegetables from the garden and prepare their own healthy snack.  Participants should bring a water bottle, hat and wear closed toed shoes.  $35 per participant, and space limited to 20.  Ages 8-12.  For more information contact Eden Santiago Gomez at (352) 521-1255 or [email protected]
