Upcoming Commission on the Status of Women Presentations for Public
Topics: Health & Wellness, Economic Prosperity and Safety & Access
The Pasco Board of County Commissioners and the Pasco County Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) invite you to take part in a series of three, monthly Community Resource Presentations designed to gather critical policy-shaping feedback to better address the needs of women in our community. The collaborative presentations aim to educate and empower women of all ages – while discussing important topics including health and wellness, economic prosperity, personal safety and access to women’s resources.
Commission on the Status of Women Community Resource Presentations will be held the first Monday of March, April and May at 2:30 p.m.
- March 4, 2019 – Health & Wellness
- April 8, 2019 – Economic Prosperity
- May 6, 2019 – Safety & Access
WHERE: Land O’ Lakes Library meeting room, 2818 Collier Pkwy., Land O’ Lakes
The presentations are open to the public and will feature speakers and community leaders from local agencies and organizations sharing the work and mission of their teams. Discussions will explore resources available to women and address questions posed by the Commission to plan for future trends and needs.
