Citrus County Animal Services and Care Center would like to thank all of our supporters in the community, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. With your help, we have kept the Care Center open, providing much-needed services and adoptions.

Updates from Citrus County Animal Services Care Center

The Care Center, located at 4030 South Airport Road, Inverness, FL 34450 has important updates to share with the public:

We are now open Tuesday through Saturday to the public, no appointment necessary. Sunday and Monday remain open by appointment only. The Care Center gates open for adoption, return to owner, pet licenses, and other services at 10am daily.

The Care Center is closed 1pm through 2pm daily.

Beginning Saturday, October 17, closing hours will go back to the usual 5pm, except on Thursdays when the Care Center is open to the public until 7pm.

Also starting the week of Saturday, October 17 the Community Cat program will operate on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 9am to noon.
