Vegetable Gardening Basics: Free Class at Dade City Watson Park Community Garden

Interested in starting a vegetable garden, but have no idea where to begin? Join the free UF/IFAS Pasco County Extension seminar on Vegetable Gardening Basics, Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9:00 am – 10:30 am.

Learn about how to choose a location for a garden, what makes good soil, when to plant different vegetables, and how to control common vegetable garden pests.

The seminar will take place outside at our Dade City Watson Park Community Garden, and will be an interactive hands-on class so bring gardening gloves, water, a hat, and sunblock.

Each family will also get to take home a free Pizza Garden kit!

Community garden plots will also be available to lease free of charge.
