Join us at the Pasco County Farmden & Community Garden the first Saturday of every month, November 3, 2018 thru May 4, 2019, from 9am to Noon, for our Learn & Grow volunteer days. We will be weeding, harvesting, washing produce, and planting. Learn about gardening as you help us grow food for our community. Join us for the UF/IFAS Pasco Extension Farm to Table Summer Youth Camp. Kids will learn how to grow their own food, the importance of attaining fruits and vegetables in their diet, and environmental conservation. Get ready for hands-on activities in the classroom paired with interactive lessons in the garden. Daily science experiments like how to make/use a solar oven to dehydrate food will be taught.
