The Citrus County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking applications for three (3) positions on the Veterans Services Advisory Board (VSAB).

Veterans Services Advisory Board Seeking Applications

This Advisory Board is seeking qualified members for terms that will begin on Saturday, April 1, 2023, and last two years. Eligible applicants must be a veteran of a war time era as defined by the Federal Department of Veteran’s Affairs, have a recommendation by a local veteran organization, and be appointed by the BOCC.

The VSAB meets the second Thursday of every other month at the Citrus County Resource Center, located at 2804 W Marc Knighton Court in Lecanto. The purpose of this Board is to advise the Veterans Service Officer on the unmet needs, policies, services, and all other pertinent matters as it relates to veterans’ services.
