Vision 54/56 Phase 2 Task Force Meeting
Third public meeting set for November 30, 2017
The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is hosting its third public Vision 54/56 Task Force Meeting on November 30, 2017 to continue evaluating transportation solutions for the State Road 54/56 Corridor, from U.S. 19 to Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
Anyone interested in the Vision 54/56 Study is invited to attend. Citizens will be able to listen to the task force discussion and take part in a public comment session.
This study is designed to determine the best solutions for addressing congestion, safety and mobility along the SR 54/56 Corridor. During Phase 1, the task force recommended six (6) major highway and transit alternatives, five (5) complementary alternatives and one (1) No-Build alternative. The MPO Board approved these alternatives for further evaluation in Phase 2 of the study.
