Visit the Hernando Historical Museums in Brooksville

The Hernando Historical Museum Association has three Museums open to the public, Tuesday thru Saturday 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.  They are the May Stringer House @ 601 Museum Ct; The 1885 Train Depot at 70 Russell Street, and The Countryman Family One Room Schoolhouse at 66 Russell Street.

There is something for everyone, whether you would like to browse our Victorian Home and go back in time, relive old Train Depot memorabilia OR

Interact in a fun and factual school lesson as they were given in 1892, then this is the place for you!

Visit one, two or all three of our historical museums to come back in time with us and enjoy a wonderful and fabulous day.

And if we have peaked your interest, we are always in need of volunteers in several different areas; tour guides for adult and students; museum greeters, grounds assistants & special events assistants to name a few.
