Be #PascoProud: Support Community Cleanup Efforts
“This year we’re excited to add a beautification project that will take place at Anclote Gulf Park,” said Keep Pasco Beautiful Coordinator Kristen King. “And volunteers in the Holiday area are planning several cleanups in their communities, as well.”
Pasco County has been part of the Great American Cleanup since 1992 – empowering community members to pick up litter and debris along roadways, waterways and public spaces. Nearly 500 volunteers picked up 28 tons of trash throughout Pasco during the 2017 event!
This is a great event for high school students to earn community service hours. Teams are registered to take part in the 2018 Great American Cleanup in several areas – including Dade City, Holiday, Moon Lake, Lacoochee, New Port Richey and Crystal Springs.
