Volunteers needed for the Kumquat Festival welcoming committee

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on January 4, 2017

Join our community volunteers welcoming Vendors to the 2017 Annual Kumquat Festival Saturday, January 28, from 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

It’s easy.  Here’s how it works.  We pair you with another volunteer, and together you will use our proven, efficient color-coding system to direct vendors to their appointed places to exhibit during the Festival.  The majority of these vendors have been here for many years and know exactly where to go, and the system we’ve set up is proven year after year to be virtually confusion free.  You’ll also have a master site map to guide you and two-way radio link to the Dade City Police Department and organizers should you have any questions.

You can join the Volunteer team for breakfast at 4:30, but don’t need to be in place to direct vendors until between 5:30 to 6 if you need that extra hour of sleep!  You’ll be done by 9 a.m., parked in a perfect spot close to the action and be able to enjoy the fair at your own pace.

To get involved with other community minded folks, please contact Melody Floyd Jo Uber at the Chamber at 352-567-3769 or via email at [email protected] or [email protected]

Be a part of Dade City’s largest annual festival — it’s good fun and great for our community!
