Volunteers Needed for Hernando Historical Museums

By Florida's Original NatureCoaster™ Posted on September 2, 2017

The Hernando Historical Museum Association has three museums open to the public, Tuesday through Saturday 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

They are The May Stringer House, The 1885 Train Depot and The Countryman Family One Room Schoolhouse.

All three museums are located in downtown Brooksville, Florida.

There is something for everyone, whether you would like to browse our Victorian home and go back in time, relive old Train Depot memorabilia or interact in a fun and factual school lesson as they were given in 1892, then this is the place for you!

So step back in time and enjoy a wonderful and fabulous day.

And if the historical museums have piqued your interest, the Association is always in need of volunteers in several different areas; Tour guides for adult and students; Museum greeters, Grounds Assistants & Special Events Assistants to name a few.
