Voter Registration Deadline Approaches
Brian E. Corley, Supervisor of Elections, announced the voter registration books for the April 10, 2018 New Port Richey, Port Richey and Zephyrhills Municipal Elections close Monday, March 12, 2018 for all new registrants residing within those city limits. Representatives from the elections office will be available at the city halls on Monday from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to take voter registrations or registration updates. Voter registration is also available daily at the Supervisor of Elections’ offices from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or on-line at www.pascovotes.com 24 hours a day.
Voters who reside within the city limits of New Port Richey, Port Richey and Zephyrhills may request a vote-by-mail ballot by calling the office at 800-851-8754, or online at www.pascovotes.com.
To be counted, vote-by-mail ballots must be returned to the elections’ office by mail or hand delivery by 7:00 p.m. election day. Mail ballots may also be returned to city halls, but may not be turned in at the polls.
Voters who wish to vote in person before Election Day may vote at New Port Richey, Port Richey and Zephyrhills City Halls beginning Friday, March 9, 2018. Voters are encouraged to insure their voter registration is up-to-date, and if voting by mail, that a current signature is on file.
As always, voter turnout and election results will be posted on-line at www.pascovotes.com after the polls close at 7:00 p.m. election day.
