The Citrus Watercolor Society will conduct their annual fall show and sale at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park in Homosassa, on Saturday and Sunday, November 19 and 20.
Whether you are a serious collector or just a plain admirer of watercolor art, you will find works of art that will please the eye. And, you will be treated to a wide variety of styles and techniques, including landscapes, abstracts, still life, waterscapes, flowers, and many other subjects created by some of the premier Nature Coast regional artists.
All artwork will be available for viewing and purchase by watercolor enthusiasts. Helene Lancaster, president of the Society, notes that, “The annual fall show and sale conducted by the Citrus Watercolor Society, and the quality of the artwork presented by the member artists has never been better. Many of our award winning artists will be exhibiting their works at this event.”
Lancaster continued, “The society annually cooperates with the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park to conduct the show & sale, and contributes a percent of the receipts from art sales during the show to support The Friends of the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park.”
Show hours are from 9 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Saturday, Nov. 19, and 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. Sunday, Nov. 20. For more information, contact Helene Lancaster (352-628-7760), or see the society web site www.citruswatercolorsociety.org .
