Wildlife Park plans Spring Egg-stravaganza March 31

Children invited to a spring egg hunt and puppet play

The Friends of Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park will be hosting a Spring EGG-stravaganza starting at 8:00 am in the field behind the main entrance and Visitor Center of the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. Thousands of eggs will be available for children to find. Children will be divided into three age groups. Plastic eggs will then be redeemed for candy. Finders of the Gold eggs in each age group will win an age appropriate prize. Families should arrive early to meet the Easter Bunny and other costumed characters.

The Wildlife Puppeteers will be presenting a puppet show just after the egg hunt starting at 9:15 am in the Florida Room. The Wildlife Puppeteers will be presenting their new puppet play entitled “Night at the Wildlife Park” There is no charge to attend the egg hunt or the puppet play. Regular park admission applies for entrance into the Wildlife Park.

Families are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to We Care Food Pantry.

These events will take place on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 8:00 am until 10:30 am at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, 4150 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa, Florida 34446.
