Wildlife Puppeteers to present new plays beginning Sept 23

New puppet plays to highlight “Night at the Wildlife Park”

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park will be presenting the next in an exciting new series of Wildlife Puppeteers’ plays starting Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Magnolia Room at the park’s main entrance and Visitor Center located on US 19. There is no charge to attend the September 23, 2017 play.

Did you see the movie, Night in the Museum? The Night at the Wildlife Park play is an imaginary story about what the animals at the Wildlife Park do after the park closes. Get ready to party, sing, and dance with the animals, and (Spoiler Alert!) you will also see animals who do not live at the Park. Watch for your favorite animals, and enjoy!

The Wildlife Puppeteers show off their recent award for long-term service.

The Wildlife Puppeteers will also be presenting this play in the park’s Discovery Center on Saturday, October 21, 2017 starting at 2:00 pm. Regular park admission will apply for this performance.

The Night in the Wildlife Park play is also scheduled for Wednesday, November 22 at 2:00 pm and again on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Florida Room at the park’s Visitor Center. There is no charge to attend the November and January puppet plays.

Wildlife Puppeteers are available to perform the play outside the Park. To arrange for these performances or for more information on the puppet show, call Vicky Iozzia at (352) 513-4633.
