The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is holding an open-house style public information meeting for anyone interested in the Withlacoochee Trail Connector Planning Study. The Open House will allow the public to share opinions and other information that could be useful in developing trail connection options.
The study will identify trail alignment alternatives to connect the future northern extension of the Hardy Trail, that will end at Lock Street in Dade City, to the southern end of the Withlacoochee State Trail Trailhead on the west side of US 301 (approximately 5 miles).
The study will also identify a preferred alternative to connect the southern end of the Hardy Trail in Dade City to the existing US 301 trail that ends at Dade City Avenue (approximately 1 mile).
